99% OF CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLICANS HAVE SOLD THEIR ROTTEN ASS SOULS TO THE DEVIL:  Soooo… If You Are Waiting For Them To Save Us From Donald Trump, Jesus Will Have Returned & Left…Again.

O.k…  I just have to say it.   I JUST DO!!! At least…99% of the Republicans in Congress are just no…got…damn…good!!!  Isn’t that sad to have to say.  But, God knows…  I’m telling you the truth.  While they are suppose to be representing “THE PEOPLE”…those bastards have sold their rotten ass souls to the Devil.  Or…at least…to his brother… “Donald Trump.”   Alright…

It has been 9 months now…since Donald Trump slithered his ass into the White House.   And, OMG!!! Where do I start???   It’s been one thing after another…after another…after another…where Donald Trump…has spewed out his venom…over all the place.  Nothing has been left untouched.  NOTHING!!!  Check it out…

He wasn’t in office 2 got damn minutes before he issued his “travel ban.”  He was sworn into office on January 20, 2017 and he issued the ban on January 27, 2017.  Oh, yeah…  It was issued under the guise of… “protecting” U. S. citizens from  “terrorists.”  However, the funny thing about the “travel ban” is this…   The travel ban left out the countries where the terrorists came from who are said to be responsible for the 9/11 events.   You know…the ones who knocked down the twin towers.  If we look at the countries from where the 9/11 terrorists came from we see the countries of: 1) Egypt… 2) Saudi Arabia… 3) United Arab Emirates…& 4) Lebanon.   NONE of these countries are listed in Trump’s travel ban Executive Order.

The initial “travel ban” only covered the countries…Iran, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Somalia & Yemen.      So, what does this tell us???  It tells us that “protecting U.S. citizens” was not the true motive in Trump’s decision to issue the ban.  HELL NO!!!  The real motive is this…  Trump & his minions…are tired of seeing Muslims running around this country…unrestrained.  Oh, my goodness!  And, don’t let them see a Muslim woman wearing a hijab.  OH, SH-I-I-I-I-T!!!…

Reuters reported that according to the Portland, Oregon, Police Department… on Friday, May 26, 2017…35-year-old Jeremy Joseph Christian of Portland, Oregon, started shouting ethnic and religious slurs, at two young women, one of whom wore a Muslim head-covering…on a commuter train.   Well…  3 men intervened to stop Christian from harassing these young women.  He then…stabbed them…killing 2.  Do you hear what I’m telling you???   In the United States of America…IN 2017…this man…stabbed 2 other men TO DEATH…because they tried to stop him from shouting racist slurs at these 2 young women.  PEOPLE!!!… You can “bet your bottom dollar” that Trump’s racist rhetoric…about Muslims…contributed to this man’s mindset.   No doubt!

Now…

With all of this so called “protection shit” being spewed out by Donald Trump…my question is this…   What about…Donald Trump???  WHAT ABOUT DONALD TRUMP???   I don’t know about yall but, from where I’m standing…that’s the *&%$#…that I need protection fromYou see…    He’s the one who…is seeking to divide this country so it can be ripped apart.   According to Trump, the White racists who marched…carrying torches as they shouted… “White lives matter!” “You will not replace us!” “Jews will not replace us!” …in Charlottesville, Virginia were…how did he put it???   Oh, yeah…   I remember…   He called them… “Very Fine People.”   And, he meant that.  While his ass might not have been physically there carrying a torch…his heart carries the same damn torch.   A torch that’s lit with ANGER…HATRED…&  PURE EVIL against Jewish people & people of color.   And, know this…

Donald Trump is the one who is trying to restrict our… “FREE SPEECH.”    On October 12, 2017…the “wanna-be dictator” …tweeted out… “With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!” “Network news has become so partisan, distorted and fake that licenses must be challenged and, if appropriate, revoked. Not fair to public!”   Times reported on October 13, 2017… “President Donald Trump is threatening NBC’s broadcast licenses because he’s not happy with how its news division has covered him.”  Make no mistake about it…  This is some serious shit.   This is what dictators do.   They try to shut-down any…opposing…voices.  Do you think it’s a coincidence that many of the journalists/reporters who’ve opposed, Trump’s mentorVladimir Putin have been either jailed…killed…or both???  O.k…

If the truth be told…there is no love lost between Donald Trump and the Republicans in Congress.   HOWEVER…   The majority of those no-good rascals have absolutely REFUSED to publicly denounce the shit that he does.   Hands down!!!   On Tuesday, October 24, 2017, Senator Jeff Flake (R-Arizona) told the world that he was not going to seek re-election in the Senate.   This freed him to more fully confess his disdain for Donald Trump’s behavior on the Senate floor.  In pertinent part Flake said

These offices that we hold are not ours indefinitely.   There are times when we must risk our careers in favor of our principles.  Now, is such a time.   I must say that I rise today with no small measure of regret.     It is time for our complicity and our accommodation of the unacceptable to end.   We must never regard as normal the regular and casual undermining of our democratic norms and ideals.    The personal attacks…the threats against principles…freedoms…and institutions…the flagrant disregard for truth and decency.   Reckless, outrageous and undignified behavior has become excused and countenanced as telling it like it is when it is actually reckless, outrageous and undignified.   And when such behavior emanates from the top of our government, it is something else.  It is dangerous to a democracy.  It projects a corruption of the spirit and weakness.  I rise today to say enough.   When we remain silent and fail to act when we know that silence and inaction is the wrong thing to do, because of political considerations…because we might make enemies…because we might alienate the base…because we might provoke a primary challenge…because ad infinitum…ad nauseum.   When we succumb to those considerations in spite of what should be greater considerations and imperatives in defense of our institutions and our liberty, we dishonor our principles and forsake our obligations.  Those things are far more important than politics.   I’m aware that more political savvy people than I will caution against such talk.   I am aware that there is a segment of my party that believes that anything short of complete and unquestioning loyalty to a President who belongs to my party is unacceptable and suspect.   If I have been critical, it is not because I relish criticizing the behavior of the President of the United States.   If I have been critical, it is because I believe it is my obligation to do so.   And, as a matter of duty and conscious.  The notion that one should stay silent as the norms and values that keep America strong are undermined and as the alliances and agreements that ensure the stability of the entire world are routinely threatened by the level of thought that goes into 140 characters.  The notion that we should say or do nothing in the face of such mercurial behavior is a historic and I believe, profoundly misguided.  A Republican President named Roosevelt had this to say about the President and a citizen’s relationship to the office… “The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants.  He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct.    His efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able and disinterested service to the nation as a whole.”  He continued… “Therefore, it is absolutely necessary that there should be a full liberty to tell the truth about his acts.  And, this means that it is exactly as necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right.  Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile.”   President Roosevelt continued… “To announce that there must be no criticism of the President or that we are to stand by a President, right and wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile but, morally treasonable to the American public.”  Acting on conscious and principle is the manner in which we express our moral selves and as such loyalty to conscious and principles should supercede loyalty to any man or party.  We can all be forgiven for failing in that measure, from time to time.    I certainly put myself at the top of the list of those who fall short in this regard.  I am holier than none.  But too often we rush not to salvage principle but, to forgive and excuse our failures so that we might accommodate them and go right on failing.  Until the accommodation itself becomes our principle.   In that way & over time we can justify almost any behavior & sacrifice any principle.   I am afraid that this is where we now find ourselves.  When a leader correctly identifies real hurt and insecurity in our country and instead of addressing it, goes to look for someone to blame there is perhaps nothing more devastating to a pluralistic society.  Leadership knows that most often a good place to start in assigning blame is to look somewhat closer to home.  Leadership knows where the buck stops.   Humility helps.  Character counts.  Leadership does not knowingly encourage or feed ugly or debased appetites in us.  Leadership  lives by the American creed “E Pluribus Unum”…from many, one.  American leadership looks to the world.  And just as Lincoln did, sees the family of man.  Humanity is not a zero-sum game.  When we have been at our most prosperous we have been at our most principled.  And, when we do well, the rest of the world does well.  These articles of civic faith have been critical to the American identity for as long as we have been alive.  They are our birthright and our obligation.  We must guard them jealously and pass them on for as long as the calendar has days.  To betray them or to be unserious in their defense is a betrayal of the fundamental obligations of American leadership.  And to behave as if they don’t matter is simply not who we are.   Now, the efficacy of American leadership around the globe has come into question.  When the United States emerged out of World War II, we contributed about half of the world’s economic activity.  It would have been easy to secure our dominance, keeping those countries who had been defeated or greatly weakened during the war, in their place.  We didn’t do that. It would have been easy to focus inward.  We resisted those impulses.  Instead, we financed reconstruction of shattered countries and created international organizations and institutions that have helped to provide security and fostered prosperity around the world for more than seventy years.  Now, it seems that we the architect of this visionary rules based world order that has brought so much freedom and prosperity are the ones most eager to abandon it.    The implications of this abandonment are profound and the beneficiaries of this rather radical departure in the American approach to the world are the ideological enemies of our values.   Despotism loves a vacuum.  And our allies are looking elsewhere for leadership.  Why are they doing this?  None of this is normal.  And, what do we as United States Senators have to say about it? The principles that underlie our politics the values of our founding are too vital to our identity and to our survival to allow them to be compromised by the requirements of politics.  Because politics can make us silent when we should speak.  And silence can equal complicity.      I have children and grandchildren to answer to.  And so, Mr. President I will not be complicit or silent.   I decided that I would be better able to represent the people of Arizona and to better serve my country and my conscious by freeing myself of the political consideration that consume far too much bandwidth and would cause me to compromise far too many principles.   To that end, I am announcing today that my service in the Senate will conclude at the end of my term in early January 2019.   It is clear at this moment that a traditional conservative who believes in limited government and free markets, who is devoted to free trade, who is pro-immigration has a narrower and narrower path to nomination in the Republican party.  The party that has so long defined itself by its belief in those things.  It is also clear to me, for the moment, that we have given in or given up on the core principles in favor of a more viscerally satisfying anger and resentment.  To be clear, the anger and resentment that the people feel at the royal mess that we have created are justified.   But, anger and resentment are not a governing philosophy.   There is an undeniable potency to a populist appeal by mischaracterizing or misunderstanding our problems and giving in to the impulse to scapegoat and belittle.    The impulse to scapegoat and belittle threatens to turn us into a fearful, backward looking people.   In the case of the Republican party, those things also threaten to turn us into a fearful, backward looking minority party.    We were not made great as a country by indulging in or even exalting our worst impulses.  Turning against ourselves.  Glorifying in the things that divide us.  And, calling fake things true and true things fake.  And, we did not become the beacon of freedom in the darkest corners of the world by flouting our institutions and failing to understand just how hard won and vulnerable they are.  This spell will eventually break.  That is my belief.  We will return to ourselves once more.  And, I say, the sooner the better.  Because we have a healthy government we must also have healthy and functioning parties.  We must respect each other again in an atmosphere of shared facts and shared values, comity and good faith.  We must argue our positions fervently and never be afraid to compromise.  We must assume the best of our fellow man and always look for the good.   Until that day comes, we must be unafraid to stand up and speak out as if our country depends on it.  Because it does.  I plan to spend the remaining 14-months of my Senate term doing just that.   Mr. President the graveyard is full of indispensable men and women.  None of us here is indispensable.   Nor were even the great figures of history who toiled at these very desk, in this very chamber, to shape the country that we have inherited.  What is indispensable are the values that they consecrated in Philadelphia and in this place.  Values which have endured and will endure for so long as men and women wish to remain free.  What is indispensable is what we do here in defense of those values.  A political career does not mean much if we are complicit in undermining these values.  I thank my colleagues for indulging me here today.  I will close by borrowing the words of President Lincoln who knew more about healthy enmity and preserving our founding values than any other American who has ever lived.   His words from his first inaugural were a prayer in his time and are now no less in ours.  “We are not enemies but, friends.   We must not be enemies thou passion may have strained it must not break the bonds of our affection.  The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched as surely as they will be by the better angels of our nature.   Thank you, Mr. President.  I yield the floor.”

I’m sorry, but I need to stop for a minute & say this…  DAMN!  That was a mouth full…even for a politician.  So, why now???  Why did Jeff Flake do this…now???  This past Saturday (10/28/17), the Washington Post quoted Jeff Flake as saying… “I couldn’t sleep at night having to embrace the president or condoning his behavior or being okay with some of his positions,” he said. “I just couldn’t do it — it was never in the cards.

Now, do you think that a boat load of other Congressional Republicans came forward…publicly…to support their colleague???   HELL NO!!!  The majority of those scoundrels ran for the hills…trying to get as far away from Flake’s ass as they could.  When the Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, (R-Ky) was asked to comment on Jeff Flake’s speech…he said, “Flake, who???”  (I’m just kidding, he didn’t say that…even though his ass probably wanted to)  But, do know this…  They know, without a doubt, that Trump is psychotic…pathological & evil.   They know!    They know…yet they will sell their own mother to Gypsies…before they come out against Donald Trump.  (no offense to Gypsies because I’m sure there are are some “very fine ones”)  And, to add insult to injury…   These devils don’t even agree with a lot of the shit that Trump is doing…YET…they remain silent.   They only say in private…to one another…that Trump’s ass is “UNFIT!”  So…

These… “need to have their asses kicked out of office”…Republicans have become complicit in his wrongdoings…by staying silent.  Why???  So, they can keep their Congressional seats.  That’s why.   They don’t want to risk losing Trump’s base voters.  They don’t want Steve Bannon running a challenger against them…in Republican primaries.  You see…  They’ve become used to having the money…power & respect that goes along with being a member of Congress.   Come hell or high-water…they are unwilling to risk losing their seats.  This is the case…  Even if their own constituents lose their life sustaining healthcare.   Even if their own constituents work in the media that Trump hates so much.  Even if their own constituents are people of color.   They REFUSE…  They REFUSE…   They REFUSE…to stand-up & fight against the Devil’s brother.  So…

Any steps to stop Trump’s ass…  Any steps to crush evil…will have to come from those who have the HEART to fight for what is right.  People who will stand-up even if it means…they lose friends…jobs…& prestige.  I’m talking about the kind of hearts that will lose these things &…don’t give a damn about it.  Why??? Because there allegiance is not to man…but to GOD.  And…99% of the Republicans in Congress are just not made of such cloth.  So…

Stop holding your breath if you are looking for Republicans to rescue us from Donald Trump.   Jesus will have returned…& left again.  Instead of depending on them, we need to vote their rotten asses out of office.  We need people, in Congress, who will FIGHT for what’s right…regardless of the worldly consequences.

Isaiah 8:11-15, helps us…here…saying… “11 For the Lord spoke thus to me while his hand was strong upon me, and warned me not to walk in the way of this people, saying: 12 Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what it fears, or be in dread. 13 But the Lord of hosts, him you shall regard as holy; let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 14 He will become a sanctuary, a stone one strikes against; for both houses of Israel he will become a rock one stumbles over—a trap and a snare for the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15 And many among them shall stumble; they shall fall and be broken; they shall be snared and taken.”

So, do you see??? Republicans need to free themselves from Donald Trump.  Trump walks in the ways of the wicked one.  And…so do the Republicans…who are blindly following him.   Jesus says… “14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” (Matthew 15:14)
