O.k. Guys. I have slumped down in my chair…taken a veeeeery deep breath…& opened my box of kleenex. Yes. I do think…I am now officially ready… to cry my ass off . Why? Ooooohh My!!! …Let me tell you why. That no good Donald Trump has slithered his ass one-step closer to the Presidency of the United States. And…If that happens…I will spend, from 2017 through 2020, screaming at the television, “WHAT DID SHE SAY?” …every time Melania makes yet another attempt… at speaking English. And…WHY???… I WILL CRY! WHY?…has this racist bird ‘who we call Donald Trump‘ been allowed to perch his ass in the White House. O.k. This is what went down…
On Tuesday, with his Primary win in Indiana…Trump basically knocked Ted Cruz & John Kasich out of the race. Now…it is basically a given that Trump will get the 1237 delegates needed in order to win the Republican Presidential Nominee spot. And…with that said, the Republican Party is more divided now… than ever. Meaning what? Meaning…that some have been put on suicide watch…vowing to go to hell before they vote for Trump. While others… have been spotted…up in trees with owls…excessively drinking bourbon. They wouldn’t have been noticed except for the loud singing of, “Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen. Nobody knows my sorrow.” Yeah…they say it got pretty loud. Anyway…
Trump, in an attempt to bring the Republican party back together, tried to heap some praises on his former bitter rival, Ted Cruz. On Tuesday night after his win…he said & I quote, “Ted Cruz, I don’t know if he likes me or doesn’t like me, but he is one hell of a competitor. He is a tough, smart guy. And he has got an amazing future.” Now…Cruz has not thanked Trump for the praise. And…I guess you can’t blame him though. You see…a few hours before Trump lauded him with this praise, Trump linked Ted Cruz’s father to Lee Harvey Oswald in the plot to assassinate John F. Kennedy. NO!!! I’m not kidding!!! Tuesday morning, Donald Trump, did this on Fox and Friends. Donald Trump said, “(Cruz’s) father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald being, you know, shot. I mean the whole thing is ridiculous. What is this, right, prior to his being shot? And nobody even brings it up. What was he doing — what was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the death? Before the shooting? It’s horrible.” And…of course Trump has not been able to provide any credible evidence to back up his claim. Sooo…I guess it’s understandable if Ted Cruz is still a little salty. O.k.
The House Speaker, Paul Ryan, probably did not help Republican party reunification efforts when he said on Thursday, to CNN, that at he cannot support Donald Trump. Ryan said, “I’m just not ready to do that at this point. I’m not there right now. At this point, I think he needs to do more to unify this party, to bring all wings of this Republican Party together and then to go forward to appeal to all Americans in every walk of life, every background, a majority of independents and discerning Democrats.” In other words, Ryan just couldn’t get his back into it. That’s all. As for Trump’s response…Trump is a little dumb-founded by Ryan’s statement since Paul Ryan is the highest-ranking elected Republican in the country. However…for the record…Ryan has not hesitated in speaking out against comments made by Donald Trump. The House Speaker criticized Trump’s plan to ban foreign Muslims from entering the U.S. & chastised him for not forcefully disavowing white supremacist David Duke. And…Ryan is not alone in his concerns about Trump leading the Republican party.
Senator Lindsey Graham has not been shy about stating his take on this whole “Trump” thing. No. At a celebratory dinner on the night of February 25, 2016, Senator Graham predicts irrevocable losses in November if the GOP backs Trump. Regarding Trump’s front-runner status in the Republican party, Graham says, “My party has gone batshit crazy.” That kind of sums it up…doesn’t it??? Short & sweet. O.k.
Trump does have a lot of supporters…though. And…it doesn’t seem to bother them, at all, that he has even mocked them in his rantings. Yes…there was a poll done & it was said that many of his supporters consist of people who are “poorly educated.” In response to the poll, Donald Trump exclaimed, “I LOVE THE POORLY EDUCATED!” Seriously??? He thinks this was a compliment. And…as it looks, obviously…his supporters think so too. They seem to be sooooo happy… being in the midst of his madness. Maybe it’s true… Maybe ignorance is bliss. Whom am I to say???
Now…The bible says, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7) Many are saying that the Republican party is now reaping what it has sowed. Meaning? Meaning… that the Republican party is now suffering from the same discord that it has been creating. It is said that the Republican party has been sowing seeds of discord, bigotry and hate for decades. It is said that the Republican party has only a sprinkling of minorities within it’s realm because of it’s racist generalizations about people of color. Ronald Reagan, the 40th U.S. President, is beloved by many in the Republican party. He cemented the image of the “welfare queen” in his stump speeches during the 1976 campaign. Reagan portrayed Linda Taylor as the stereotypical poor black villain who fraudulently collects entitlements. He tried to instill these images into the minds of middle America. It is said that the Republican Party has used hateful rhetoric to blame Blacks, Hispanics, women, homosexuals, and Muslims for every one of their policy failures. It is said that the Republican party has exploited the fears of White America in order to turn these White folk against people of color. Divisive rhetoric….you think????
Soooo….Maybe. Just Maybe… the “Chickens” have come home to roost.
